- This is a link to the granola/breakfast bars I make weekly. They are amazing. nice and chewy and you can mix up the flavors! I usually use apple and something else. I have added pears, strawberries, and bananas They all taste amazing! The first time I made then the boys ate 1/2 a pan. I double the cinnimon in it, because..well just because I love it! Enjoy http://happyhealthymama.com/2012/11/apple-peanut-butter-snack-bars.html
- This is my favorite soup ever. PERIOD. Its a kale soup. I never even tried kale before 3 months ago and now I can not get enough.
http://www.skinnytaste.com/2008/04/kale-and-potato-soup-with-turkey.html - Here is another fav. its a chicken and spinach. I use fresh spinach and I also use fresh tomatoes and add my own seasoning, instead of the ones from a can. http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=552450
- The boys LOVE pancakes...let's be honest, who does not love pancakes.. Did you know that most of the box mixes on the market have yellow dye in them? I was OUTRAGED when I realized this. I now make my own. Simple and you have all of the ingredients at home I can guarantee it http://allrecipes.com/recipe/good-old-fashioned-pancakes/
- Roasted Carrots.. LOVE http://www.simplyscratch.com/2012/10/whole-roasted-glazed-carrots.html
- I love pickles! I would eat them on just about anything. As I got more into finding the dye in everything I learned (actually from a hippy farmer that story to come) that the reason they are so yellow/green in the stores is that they load them with DYE!!! WHY??? Here is a super fast way to make your own. You will NEVER buy them at the store again! http://growingdays.blogspot.com/2012/10/dill-icious-pickles.html
- Best snack ever :) Crab stuffed snap peas. Kids are not into them just yet.. but I keep trying. http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Crab-Stuffed-Snow-Peas
- Home made Tater Tots- Sweet Potato tots~ My kids devoured them and had no idea they were sweet potato. I used a dicer instead of the grater( I do not have a grater) and then mixed a little flour and breadcrumbs and pan fried them- I know not as healthy as baking them but I wanted them really crisp

- Tonight I made Chicken parm meatballs. They were EPIC!! http://www.joypng.com/png/772.html
- I made oven "fried" green beans tonight. They are nice and crisp with a bit of a bite :) Verdict is still out on the dipping cause. I am not sold.. I will look for something healthier... http://www.macaroniandcheesecake.com/2013/01/baked-green-bean-fries-with-fry-dipping-sauce.html
- So As I mentioned Pillsbury rolls and biscuits all have dye in them. even the store name brands do. So I am looking for a good easy replacement for them. This is pretty darn close and easy! Don't be scared because you have to use yeast.. it's easy! I just had some fresh from the oven with my local honey and they were not an exact match to Pillsbury, but darn close. I also used coconut oil instead of the shortening... that may have changed the taste a bit, but its way better for you! http://www.food.com/recipe/copycat-pillsbury-crescent-rolls-365725
